By accessing or using EmergencyDental ("the Site", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, dental providers, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
EmergencyDental operates a national online directory connecting patients with emergency dental care providers. The Service includes: • A searchable directory of verified emergency dental providers • Provider profile pages with contact information and patient reviews • A provider application and listing management system • Educational resources about dental emergencies EmergencyDental is a directory service only. We do not provide dental care, medical advice, or treatment recommendations.
3. Directory Listings — Provider Terms
Dental providers who apply for a listing agree to: • Provide accurate, truthful, and current information about their practice • Maintain a valid dental license in the state(s) where they practice • Offer genuine emergency dental services as represented in their listing • Notify EmergencyDental promptly of any changes to their practice information • Not misrepresent credentials, availability, or services offered Each ZIP code supports one active verified provider. Listings are exclusive to the ZIP code claimed. EmergencyDental reserves the right to remove or suspend listings that violate these terms or contain inaccurate information. Providers may not use the directory to advertise services not related to emergency dental care, or to solicit patients for non-emergency elective procedures through emergency-specific listings.
4. Patient Reviews
Users who submit reviews agree to: • Provide honest, first-hand accounts of their experience • Not submit fake, fabricated, or incentivized reviews • Not include defamatory, harassing, or illegal content • Not include personal information of third parties without consent EmergencyDental moderates all reviews before publication. We reserve the right to reject or remove reviews that violate these guidelines. Submitting a false review may constitute fraud and could result in legal action.
5. No Medical Advice
THE CONTENT ON THIS SITE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE MEDICAL OR DENTAL ADVICE. EmergencyDental does not recommend or endorse any specific dental provider, treatment, or procedure. Always consult a qualified dental professional for diagnosis and treatment. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not delay seeking emergency medical care because of information you have read on this site.
6. Intellectual Property
The EmergencyDental name, logo, website design, and original content are the intellectual property of EmergencyDental, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without express written permission from EmergencyDental, Inc. Provider-submitted content (practice descriptions, photos) remains the property of the provider but grants EmergencyDental a non-exclusive license to display it as part of the directory.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMERGENCYDENTAL, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Reliance on directory information that proves inaccurate • Inability to reach a listed provider • Quality of care received from a listed provider • Any medical or dental outcomes Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed $100.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of provider information in the directory. Provider availability, hours, and services are subject to change without notice.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EmergencyDental, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Washington, DC, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
11. Modifications to Terms
EmergencyDental reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email (for registered providers) or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
